James McGrath live 8th February
Following on from an excellent performance at Audlem Festival, James McGrath will be flying over from Ireland for one night only. A filmed music night at the Lord C. Starting out as a solo performer doing acoustic gigs, James soon formed a band. From 1994 onwards, The McGraths,The Tempted,The Crazy-Janes, Boathouse, James McGrath Band and now James McGrath.Com.
James and band are not only established in Ireland area, but in the past six months have built up a fan base over the water in England. James uses his distinctive voice to sing a well planned mix of his own material and great covers. Add in his smooth acoustic guitar backing and experianced muscians behind him.
It all comes together. The gigs are enjoyed by both the punters and the band. Thats why the graph will continue to rise for this band. James released his debut album in August, 1995, called Time Will Tell. This release was part of a week's activities to raise funds for Rehab. He organised busking, sponsored silence, batchelor competion, football and a host of gigs at the Meeting Place.
As well as James, we're also delighted to confirm Lydia O'Dowd. Lydia is a singer songwriter, signed to Craggstar records and will also be performing a collection of excellent original tunes as part of the evening of music.
This is not a gig to miss, so stick Sunday 8th February in your diary and get down around 7:00ish. Entry is free, and with an excellent array of beers, wines and local fresh food how can you lose?!
