Matt Leivers
Head Chef
Matt started his career in Buxton where he gained his qualification and worked in various roles in the Leisure and Hospitality industry. He quickly realised that he loved life in the kitchen, so decided this was his chosen career path. Since Matt's very first experience of cooking (Scooby Doo cakes) he has worked his way up through various roles within the kitchen, at many establishments from fine dining, gastro pubs, large hotel chains and country pubs and under acclaimed Michelin starred chefs. Matt loves using local produce to create unforgettable dishes that keep customers coming back time and time again. He loves using British meats to create rustic food and making the most of flavours and getting the seasoning just right.

Sous Chef
Charles started his career as a Kitchen Porter at The Lord Combermere and has progressed his way up to Sous Chef. Charles, a self confessed chef with a sweet tooth loves nothing more than making a mouth watering dessert or his famous Cornflake Tart...ask him about it the next time you see him! He is also famous for his delicious omelettes which is a customers favourite at The Lord Combermere.

James Barnett
Chef de Partie
James started his career in Residence Bar and Restaurant, Nantwich as a Kitchen Porter. Over the years he worked his way up in the kitchen after showing great potential and quickly learnt many new skills. In April 2011 James joined The Lord Combermere team and was recently promoted to his new role as Chef de Partie.
